Asset Management Knowledge Hub — Demo Script

Step 1 — Set the Scene

Start with the maintenance challenge: asset information and maintenance knowledge exist, but users lose time finding the right context across records and operational knowledge.
Explain that engineers and reliability teams typically navigate multiple screens and systems before they can act on a single maintenance question.

Step 2 — Open the Knowledge Hub

Open the Asset Management Knowledge Hub in your browser.
Introduce the maintenance or reliability persona the audience will follow throughout the demo.

Step 3 — Ask a Natural-Language Question

Type a natural-language question about an asset — for example, its maintenance history, open work-order context, or a troubleshooting need present in the demo dataset.
Submit the query and observe the hub retrieving relevant IBM Maximo context in real time.
Point out how the response is concise and grounded in actual asset-management data, rather than a generic AI answer.

Step 4 — Demonstrate Conversational Follow-Up
