# Asset Management Knowledge Hub — Demo Script

---

**Step 1 — Set the Scene**

1. Start with the maintenance challenge: asset information and maintenance knowledge exist, but users lose time finding the right context across records and operational knowledge.
2. Explain that engineers and reliability teams typically navigate multiple screens and systems before they can act on a single maintenance question.

**Step 2 — Open the Knowledge Hub**

1. Open the **Asset Management Knowledge Hub** in your browser.
2. Introduce the maintenance or reliability persona the audience will follow throughout the demo.

**Step 3 — Ask a Natural-Language Question**

1. Type a natural-language question about an asset — for example, its maintenance history, open work-order context, or a troubleshooting need present in the demo dataset.
2. Submit the query and observe the hub retrieving relevant **IBM Maximo** context in real time.
3. Point out how the response is concise and grounded in actual asset-management data, rather than a generic AI answer.

**Step 4 — Demonstrate Conversational Follow-Up**

1. Ask a follow-up question that builds on the previous response — for example, drilling into a specific work order or requesting the maintenance history for a related asset.
2. Show how the hub maintains business context across turns so the user never has to manually re-navigate Maximo screens.

**Step 5 — Highlight the Architecture**

1. Clarify that **IBM Maximo Application Suite** remains the authoritative system of record — no data is moved or modified.
2. The **Knowledge Hub** is an AI-assisted discovery and decision-support layer on top of asset data, built with **IBM Bob**.

**Step 6 — Close with Extensibility**

1. Present the reusable patterns this architecture unlocks:
   - Troubleshooting assistance for field technicians
   - Work-order preparation and planning
   - Preventive and predictive maintenance scheduling
   - Reliability knowledge access and analysis
   - Technician enablement and self-service support
