Adding custom Json-over-http device to the device library

This Maximo Monitor lab demonstrates the use of a custom device from the Device library.

In this lab you will learn the steps needed to successfully use an Json simulator and get data into Maximo Monitor using a Managed Gateway.

The exercises will cover:

  • Setting up the Json simulator
  • Adding a new device to the device library by import device settings
  • Filling in CSV template for Json-over-http Protocol datapoints
  • Create a Managed Gateway and add the custom device
  • Verify data flow from the added custom device in Maximo Monitor.
