Deletion of multiple inactive partitions using dynamic inventory plugin
The following demo illustrates the usage of dynamic inventory plugin for the deletion of multiple partitions. It uses dynamic inventory plugin to collect the inventory and use it as input to delete multiple partition in iteration. Here each delete task will take care of removing the VIOS disk mapping and vdisk associated with the partition as well.
Create and Activate lpar instance
The following demo illustrate the use case of creating a partition with memory and shared processor settings along with storage and network configurations. Once created, it activates the partition with default profile.
Poweroff, Modify and Power on power system
The following demo illustrates the use case of listing down power system details and to modify configuration changes like name, poweroff policy, poweron lpar policy and then modify system resources like memory region size, system huge pages poweroff the power system, once modified poweron power system.
Create and Install vios then accept license
The following demo illustrates the use case of creating VIOS partition with user provided profile name and ioslots settings and then installing VIOS on newly created VIOS partition from user provided NIM server details. After successful installation accept the VIOS license.
