PR/SM indicator bits

Description

PR/SM indicator bits

Flag fields

This is a flag field with the following bit fields:

Field Bit-Position Description
dif 0 PR/SM - Diagnose X'204’ failure
npc 1 PR/SM - Number of physical processors has changed
tsc 2 PR/SM - Dispatch interval value has changed
phy 3 PR/SM - An additional partition is presented with the name “PHYSICAL”. This partition includes all of the otherwise uncaptured time which was used by LPAR but could not be attributed to a specific logical partition
dge 4 PR/SM - Diagnose X'204’ extended data is supported
vmg 5 Simplified Diagnose X'204’ data provided for system running as z/VM guest. CPU consumption by z/VM itself provided with partition data section named “PHYSICAL”
