Requirements - Provision and Manage z/OS Software Instances

To use the modules and roles which supplied to interact with Cloud Provisioning & Management (CP&M) in your playbook, besides the Overall Requirements, the following nodes require specific versions of software:

Managed Node:

• z/OS Management Facility: V02.03.00 or later

  The z/OSMF server must be installed and active on each managed z/OS system.

  It is required when using:

  • role: zmf_cpm_provision_software_service

  • role: zmf_cpm_manage_software_instance

  • role: zmf_cpm_remove_software_instance

• Cloud Provisioning & Management:

  It is required when using:

  • role: zmf_cpm_provision_software_service

  • role: zmf_cpm_manage_software_instance

  • role: zmf_cpm_remove_software_instance
