Tutorial: Creating an IMS Project

Goal

Create a new IMS project to organize SQL queries and related assets.

Steps

1. Open the IMS Projects view.
2. Select New Project and choose a folder.
3. Enter the project name and confirm.
4. (Optional) Share the project folder in source control; consider storing ims.connections.json in a shared IMS Workspace location for team use.

Result

You now have an IMS project to hold queries, connection references, and artifacts for your IMS database work.
