Release 11.4.2

Updates to the catalog page

Event Endpoint Management release 11.4.2 introduces a new user experience to the catalog page.

Download user credential properties file

In 11.4.2 and later, you can download the user credentials that you generate when you subscribe to an event endpoint. The file that is downloaded contains essential Kafka client properties that include the bootstrap server address, group ID, and user credentials. You can use these properties to connect to the event endpoint more efficiently and integrate events into your application more quickly.

Event Gateway available from the public registry

In 11.4.2 and later, you can download the Event Gateway from the public IBM Container software library without an entitlement key. For more information, see installing the stand-alone Event Gateway.
