Event Endpoint Management continues to be available and enhanced as part of IBM's integration platforms.

Event Streams and Event Processing are deprecated and no enhancements will be provided. Support and security fixes will be provided in line with published support lifecycle policies. Future event-driven solutions that make use of Apache Kafka and Apache Flink will be delivered by IBM Confluent.

Virtual topic is not displayed in IBM API Connect Developer Portal v12.1.1 or later

Symptoms

A virtual topic does not appear in IBM API Connect Developer Portal after it has been published.

Causes

This issue can occur due to several reasons:

  • The integration between Event Endpoint Management and Developer Portal is not configured correctly.
  • The wrong publishing destination was selected during the publish process.
  • Errors occurred during the publishing process.

Resolving the problem

To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:

  1. Verify that the integration between Event Endpoint Management and Developer Portal is configured correctly.
  2. Check that you selected Developer Portal or Both as the publishing destination when you published the virtual topic.
  3. Check the Event Endpoint Management logs for any errors during the publishing process.
  4. Check the Developer Portal logs for any errors during the publishing process.
