FAQ Handling

Common questions you'll hear during a session, and suggested responses.


During Theory

"How does this compare to [competitor product]?"

Acknowledge the question, give a direct differentiator, and offer to go deeper after the session. Don't get pulled into a lengthy comparison during theory.

"Do we need to be certified to sell this?"

Clarify the partner programme requirements. If unsure, note it and follow up after the session.

"Can we see a real customer example?"

Use one of the Use Cases from the theory module. If you have a sanitised case study, this is a great moment to share it.


During Labs

"I'm getting an error not in the troubleshooting doc."

Ask to see the full error. Check the Troubleshooting page first, then assist directly. Log new issues to be added to the doc after the session.

"Can I skip ahead to Lab 401?"

Encourage following the sequence — each lab builds on the last. If an attendee is significantly faster than the group, give them an extension challenge rather than letting them skip.

"Will this work in my client's existing environment?"

Note this as a great post-session follow-up. Collect the specific context (cloud provider, infra constraints) and connect them with the right technical resource.


After the Session

"Where can I find this content again?"

Point them to this MkDocs site URL.

"When is the next session?"

Collect their interest and feed it back to the program organiser.

"Can we get a recording?"

Partner Market Launchpad is intentionally in-person and not recorded — the value is in the hands-on experience, not passive consumption. Offer the docs site as the reference instead.
